Kogi Guber: Omala LGA PDP Adopts Abubakar Ibrahim.

Peoples Democratic Party Governorship Aspirant gets a rousing tumultuous home coming reception. The Peoples Democratic Party in Omala LGA of Kogi State has declared the area a no go area for other aspirants and political parties in the forthcoming governorship primaries and general election. The decision to make Omala water tight for other PDP aspirants came to the fore when the campaign train of Abubakar Ibrahim touchdown at Abejukolo, headquarters of the area.
 
 
The Kogi state governorship election is scheduled for November 16 while the PDP primaries to choose the party’s candidate comes up on 3rd September, 2019. In his drive to actualise his dream of making the state work again, front line aspirant, Abubakar Ibrahim received a tumultuous welcome back home, as the PDP delegates urged him to literally take a bow and go.
 

The visit which turned out to be an endorsement for Abubakar Ibrahim, he disclosed would serve as an elixir for him to clinch party’s ticket and victory in November election. According to the PDP guber hopeful, the reception accorded him was encouraging and a morale booster, promised to justify the confidence reposed on him, said his decision to join in the guber race was informed by the high level of decay under the present administration.
 

According to Abuibro, having acquired the needed capacity, credibility to run for the office of governor, says posterity would not forgive him if he fail to harken to the call to help salvage the state. “I am well grounded to know what our people want, to know how politics is being run, so I’ll better the lot of our people if elected as governor” The guber hopeful lamented that the state has derailed from what it is suppose to be developmentally, assured that he has what it takes that will bring back the state’s lost glory. He thanked the Omala LGA PDP for their show of support promised to be a good ambassador of the area if elected, insisting that the area would also get its fair share of development if he is elected.
