Dear kogites,
Here comes another time (voting time) to decide who should manage your affairs for the next four years.
Those who for the past 3 years have been milking kogi state from within/outside the state that made payment of salary, pensions and infrastructural development difficult are up to ensure that the conduit pipe is never disconnected.
If a governor at a first tenure can be brutish, careless and lawless, a second tenure surely will spell doom. Don’t be deceived or excited by this sudden regular payments of salary for selected state workers and percentage payments to Local government staff. It is merely for the purpose of the re- election. If you are deceived and you vote for continuation, it will be extremely regrettable.
I call on all kogites particularly my kinsmen (igala brothers and sisters), to rise up and be United irrespective of party affiliation .Don’t allow Money and fake promises or any temporary things to make you sell your vote. Don’t be an Essau when God made you a Jacob (an Israelite).Be the King maker God made you to be as electorates in your various senatorial districts.Your destinies are in your hands.Dont betray yourselves for people who have no plans for the well being of kogites.Stand your grounds and vote wisely.
Mobilize people out for voting and conduct yourselves. However, never succumb to any law enforcement agent using their uniform to unduly interfere with electoral process. He or she may be fake. Watch out for such behaviours and report appropriately.
Ensure you protect your votes by monitoring from polling unit to ward collation centres, from ward collation centres to local government collation centres, and to state collation centre. The boast that results will be written is a political weapon of discouragement to ensure that you do not mobilize people out to vote. Your vote will count if you protect it.
