A statement jointly issued on behalf of the bodies and signed by Metuo Martha, eulogised the efforts of the SDP Governorship candidate, particularly women and men as outstanding in the anals of history of kogi state,North Central at large
She said their decision was based on general assessment of her unique disposition, as far surpasses that of men by so many parameters,saying she will be the best thing that will happen to kogi by November 16
She described the SDP Governorship candidate, as the likes of Late Queen Amina of Zaria,Late Funmilayo Ransome- Kuti,Inikpi of Igala kingdom and other notable Nigeria women who had fought for the socio-political emancipation of women and men in Nigeria
Mrs Martha sympathised with the SDP candidate over the frequent harassment and embarrassment from kogi state government,’ both in the last election were she contested for the Senate and several attempt on her life and killing of supporters loyal to her
Her doggedness in that regard,according to the spokeswoman, was outstanding and challenging to the failure of men at the helms of affairs in kogi state
She commended Mrs Natasha over her frequent social responsibility and charitable stance, towards the suffering kogites and promised to mobilise the entire women from kogi East,kogi state towards her success in the coming election
