The Chairman and founder ,Nigeria Youth for Gov.Yahaya Bello , Comrade Ibrahim Mohammed Adam, has dumped the All Progressive Congress APC for the candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka.
Comrade Adam throw in the towel in a press release he personally signed and made available to Journalists in Lokoja on Thursday, noted that his decision was borne out of the present happenings that have eroded his belief for championing the cause for youths to support Governor Yahaya Bello and his administration.
Comrade Ibrahim Mohammed Adam stated that his Organisation, Nigeria Youths for Yahaya Bello , which came into being in 2020, has worked tirelessly to build hopes, progress for a brighter today and in the future, stressing that their collective vision was to create an inclusive Nigeria, where every citizen, regardless of background, could thrive and prosper.
He however lamented that as time passed, it has become increasingly evident that the sentiments surrounding the present happenings in the Kogi state have compromised the very essence and foundation for the formation of the group.
According to the youth leader, who is caught in the web of the ongoing circumstances which have given fillips to his decision to collapse the structures of the Nigerian Youths for Yahaya Bello into his new movement as Muri Grassroot Awareness (MGA).
He added that the decision was not made lightly, but it is one that he firmly believed is necessary for the betterment of Kogi state to preserve the moral fabrics of the citizenry.
“Muri Grassroot Awareness (MGA) is a movement built on the principles of transparency, accountability, and unwavering dedication to the grassroots. Our mission is clear—to awaken the consciousness of every Nigerian, particularly those at the grassroots and empower them with knowledge, resources, and opportunities to effect positive change.

While expressing his gratitude to all those who have supported the Nigerian Youths for Yahaya Bello (NYYB) since its inception, assured them of his commitment to the ideals of progress and development and called on them to forge ahead with renewed determination, for the sake of Kogi state.
He reiterated his support for candidate of SDP , Muritala Ajaka whom he said has capacity, competence, character and humility to bring development to the state.
