The distinguish Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who represented Kogi East in the National Assembly has thrown his support behind the aspiration of Capt. Idris Wada.
The Senator who is one of the major Stakeholders of the PDP and Kogi politics made this commitment declaring his total support which he described as the Kogi project. He promised of handing over his over 300 loyal delegates across the Eastern Senatorial District of the State to Capt. Idris Wada
The Senator stated that at a time as this when Kogi State is faced with serious leadership challenge, all that is required is a man with the credentials of Capt. Idris Wada. He also stated that Capt. Idris Wada is a very honest, truthful and sincere politician who has has got a hands-on experience in democratic leadership to run a State effectively and efficiently.
In a developing story, the wave of support and boost Capt. Idris Wada’s campaign is getting has rattled the Yahaya Bello’s led APC in the State. Following a confidential information from Yahaya Bello’s camp, they are disturbed with this development as they view Capt. Idris Wada as a hard political nut to crack considering his positive antecedents compared to Bello’s failure soaked in mass corruption and failure to meet the expectations of Kogites.
It has been revealed of a said plan by APC sponsored thugs to disrupt the PDP primaries slated for September 3 in Lokoja.
Our resolve is to go through the process of internal democracy to elect a candidate for the PDP.
