Promises All Inclusive Administration/Robust Public Service
As the race towards Kogi Governorship draws nearer,one or the endorsed candidate of Kogi Elders and frontline PDP candidate,Chief Joseph Erico said his administration will overhaul fabrics and system of Kogi state to revert it back to a more profitable system
Chief Joseph Erico made this pledge in lokoja before the key party stakeholders in Kogi and the people of Lokoja local government during a routine visit to supporters in the area
PDP Governorship hopeful reassured the party echelon, to do anything humanly possible to convince the delegates to support his good intentions of total turnaround and transformation of the critical sectors of the state, to relive the economic activities in comatose in the last few years
He said in the first few months,Kogi as a civil service state,will get an unrivalled boost both in emolument through major re-organisation with human face to ensure sound economic and social environment
“As a candidate that is private sector driven,with over 9000 workforce in my personal establishment,with payment of salaries and allowances been paid as at when due,I will replicate such system in kogi state forthwith when elected “
Dr Erico promised to create an unrivalled job opportunities for the teeming youths, through his zeal of resourcefulness,to attract series of investors into the state to enable all and sundry engaged in series of employable jobs and skill development, to reduce and avoid social vices
Aside alleviating the problems of unemployment of youths and graduates of Kogi origin,Erico told the party elders and large supporters that his adminstration will put in place a model mechanism that will mitigate hardship and alleviate suffering in the nooks and crannies of the state
He said with good policies and programs,the present administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello will be easily eased out without hesitation, to exterminate the current political aberration bee perpetrated in the state by November
Dr Erico promised to review and re-absorb all the workers both at state and the local government whose appointments were wrongly terminated, without following the due guildeliness and provisions guiding the public service
Erico vows to ensure Kogi state university, compete favourably with private universities in Nigeria lamenting the current position of Kogi state government inability to meet up the governments immediate responsibilities,compared to the position of the institution in the last ten years
He advised PDP Supporters and stakeholders to play down on religious differences,emphasising that religion is suppose to be a bond of unity and strenght and not division as been propagated in some sections of the society
Present at the occassions were PDP executives in lokoja local government,party stakeholders like Chief John Odawn,Hassan Salawu former PDP chairman,Timothy Omora ,Mohammed Barega, Ogwu Solo and many supporters of the party in kogi state
