It was a beautiful and colourful event yesterday, when the gubernatorial candidate of our party PDP, Engr. Musa Wada visited Ajaokuta local government area of Kogi state.
The DG protocol and former Ofu Council Chairman,Hon Ameh a.k.a Alumanjeri, read the profile of Engr. Musa Wada, while the Media Director, Hon. Abu Sule moderated the programme
The purpose of his visit to Adoga, according to him, is to seek and canvass fort support of the people of the area, and most especially, the party delegates, statutory delegates, local govt executives, youths and women, who all turned out in their numbers to give him and his campaign entourage a rousing welcome.
Appreciating them for the warm reception accorded him and his team,Engr. Musa Wada said he is overwhelmed by their show of love and thanked them for their commitment
Engr. Musa mass movement Campaign Organisation 2019 donated the sum of N2,560,000 to all the Ajaokuta’s delegates as well as bag of rice, beans and two cloths to each delegate.
Alh.Sulemain Ibrahim Idris son of former Governor of Kogi State, who appealed to the delegates to support their candidate, urged them to unite and work effortlessly to ensure the emergence of Engr.Musa Wada in the forth coming Party primaries.He noted that Ajaokuta is blessed with abundance of human resources and assured them of good and rapid development in the area.
The party Chairman as well as the representative of Women, youths and stakeholders also acknowledged the people for their support.
The DG of the Campaign Organisation, Otunba Prince Jambright Sumanu also in his remark, thanked the people for turning out in their large numbers,adding that this is a confirmation that Engr.Musa Wada is well accepted by the people of the area.He assured them of good governance and call on the people to reject poverty and slavery. In his capacity, he spelt out the details of the distribution of items and funds meant for them.
