Kogi governorship aspirant,Dr Joseph Erico has expressed dismay over wanton negligence of Bassa Kingdom, by the present administration in all sectors,promising to reverse the ugly trend when elected

Dr Erico made this observation during a campaign tour or the area,saying his government will not hesitate to bring the potentials of the area back to it’s normal position
Chief Erico expressed worries over the dearth of infrastructural development particularly roads and other critical items needed by the people,by the state and federal authorities
The gubernatorial aspirant also commended the people for maintaining the culture of self sustenance and self development in all areas,saying that is enough to attract the attention of both the state and federal government
He said the arable land for Yam,Rice and Cassava will be further explored to turn the state into the food basket of the nation and ripe for importation
Chief Erico said Ibaji and Bassa local government will receive special attention during his administration, when elected owing to their peculiarities in terms of natural resources
He appealed to the delegates and the electorates to support his desire to rule the state in the next primaries, to ensure good governance and even distribution of social amenities
