Capt. Idris Wada’s campaign received a major boost today as Dekina Elders, Stakeholders and Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party endorsed Capt. Idris Wada as the preferred candidate to fly the PDP Governorship ticket in the forthcoming Governorship election in the State.
The team cited experience, honesty, humility, acceptance and Dekina’s turn to complete her 2nd term as part of the many reasons for this endorsement.
In a statement obtained by THE OBSERVERS TIMES from Wada media team, the leaders from Dekina pledge to galvanize every needed support to ensure that Capt. Idris Wada and the PDP come out victorious in the coming primaries and general election. The team also commended the effort and passion of other aspirants on the PDP platform to rescue the State from bad leadership. However, they noted that their support for Capt. Idris Wada, is to enable other zones of the State seek Kogi’s leadership in 2023 in a seemingly smooth transition.
The team includes Chief John Odawn, Chief Gabriel Adukwu, Senator Ugbane, Alh Usman Pele(Kogi East Zonal Chairman), Alh Egini (PDP Dekina LG Chairman), Hon. Ben Okolo, Hon Simeon Maha, Alh. Mikail Isa, Hon. Inyada Attah, Hon Stephen Akwu and Hon. Jibrin Obaka. It is therefore sealed that the entire Dekina PDP, in one accord have agreed to create a united block in the forthcoming PDP Primaries.
This is indeed a clear signal to all and sundry that the PDP as a family is better united to Restore Kogi’s lost glory.
The team also established that Kogites have now been able to measure Capt. Idris Wada’s term and the present administration. They stated that Capt. Idris Wada possess very rich experience in democratic governance, referencing his outstanding performance while in office.
