Hired APC Thugs,Special adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello,Usman Ochidi in company of APC Kogi east Zonal chairman ,Ahmed Attah have attacked and burnt down a vehicle belonging to PDP starlwart at Emewe Opada on transit to Oguma
Senator Jibrin Isah and two state lawmakers,Enema Paul, Moses Idoko Ododo,and Kogi Commissioner,Oneh Ejigbo are part of the abductors of PDP leader from Bassa.
According to the Deputy Director ,Public Communication, This is part of Governor Yahaya Bello’s arrangement in Kogi east to instill fear on the people to discourage the electorates from trooping out enmasse to support PDP’s Engineer Musa Wada.
The commencement of the operation,according to the council is to attack,adopt,Kidnap and Kill been planned by the administration of Yahaya Bello, to disenfranchised the kogi electorates from supporting PDP, started in earnest led by the party’s paid thugs,top government officials and top party officials
Ahmed Attah,the zonal Chairman of the APC, has threatened indigenes of Kogi east coming home for the election to vote against Kogi governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello to drop their plans to come home,or risk the consequences
As at press time, the where about of the victim,Nda Ibrahim is unknown, as the abductors which include hired Kogi Government thugs,top aides to the governor and the APC zonal leader have not released the PDP leader in Bassa

The council appealed to security agencies in Kogi ,particularly the police to intervene in the release of the victim by the known abductors, who have held the people of Kogi east to ransom to foist Kogi governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello return as kogi governor.
Thrice in the last two weeks the APC have attacked PDP members in Ankpa,Anyigba and Dekina,as they was attempt on the lives of the Party’s candidate on two occassions in Ankpa and Anyigba
Kogi east Senator’s country home had turned to battle field, as supporters of PDP were daily attacked by the APC members, sponsored by the senator and other top government officials in the state from the area
The council said it has been attacks too many from the APC led goverment in Kogi,to discourage supporters from showing open sympathy for the main opossition party, PDP
The Campaign Council alleged that even though the security agencies in Kogi has openly conceded to the activities of the government sponsored thugs,no action has been taken to address the lingering attacks on the hapless opponents
