by
The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engineer Abubakar Ohere has boasted that his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello has all it takes to fly on the platform of any party  in the event that the All Progressives Congress (APC) denies him ticket to run for the governorship race come November, 2019.
The Special Adviser who led stakeholders from the Central Senatorial District of the state on a solidarity visit to endorse Governor Bello for his second term bid last week while speaking to journalists said the rumour making the round that APC might deny his boss the ticket to run for the governorship election may not hold water as the Governor has the option of actualising his dream on any other party platform.
“Bello is a sellable and outstanding figure that APC cannot afford to miss. He has performed to the satisfaction of the people of Kogi state and his party. He delivered to APC in the last Presidential, National and State Assemblies elections. All these feats recorded by the Governor is a clear indication that there is no vacancy in Lugard House at the moment” the Special Adviser affirmed.

Ohere said the harvest of endorsements for Bello’s second term bid by traditional rulers, opinion moulders, youth leaders, community leaders, traders, market women and other critical stakeholders across the three senatorial districts of the state in the last few days speaks volume  for the success of the Governor’s ambition.
He maintained that Bello had done very well in deploying the state resources prudently among other development initiatives, saying that the governor had provided potable water, constructed roads and ensured the security of lives and property in the state.
Governor Yahaya Bello while responding to the solidarity visit, promised that his second term will witness massive Human Capital Development, if given the mandate for another four years.
The governor also promised that his administration will redoubled its effort in ensuring that the people of the state enjoy absolute security of life and property.
Bello gave the assurance that other sectors of the state economy will also witness accelerated development capable of taking the teeming unemployed youths from the streets.

He  pledged that , if re-elected, he will be committed to good governance that will engage the youths in profitable ventures.
According to him “We have been able to remind ourselves where we are coming from, what the state was in terms of infrastructures, security and human capital development.
“We intend to build on what we have, clear the mess that is left, complete our infrastructures after commissioning the much that we are able to complete and by the grace of God, in our second term, we will focus on human capital development”
Bello said President Muhammadu Buhari would be in the state in August to commission his projects adding that ongoing projects would be commissioned in his second term.
