Kogi Elites Forum Condemns Arrest Of DCP Ejeh Abutu,Says Bello,Edward Planning To Rubbish Igala Personalities 

 

Kogi Elites has denied the statement credited to Kogi deputy governor,Edward Onoja that the former Deputy Commissioner of Police and Chairman PDP security council for Dekina local government, was arrested while in possession of firearms,saying it is mere political frame up
The elites forum in a statement issued in lokoja by it’s secretary, Dr Ibrahim Ojodomo said this is the planned arrest,kidnap and abduction of prominent Igala sons and daughters by the governor and his deputy to discourage mass support of the people of Dekina towards the victory of their son,Engineer Musa Wada
He said the raid on the former DCP residence in Ajiolo by the known SARS commander for Kogi,working for APC and the state government , CSP Abba Ibrahim Gana,was meant to frame up the DCP and some supporters of PDP in Dekina local government area.
A close sources to the government confirmed overtures of automobile gifts and financial inducement to the former DCP,but was declined on the basis of his political ideals and commitment to the PDP
“Several attempt was made to raze down his house at Ajiolo-Ojaji by APC thugs, but was resisted by the PDP members loyal to the DCP from the area and by extension Dekina local government “
He said the retired DCP is not unaware of the implications of been in possession of firearms,and will not risk taken the action,saying this is one of the ploy by the ruling APC to frame and detain some prominent igalas particularly in Dekina local government, were bulk votes is expected for the PDP candidate
According to Aaron,the ruling party are already afraid of the crowd that greeted the electioneering Campaign, that commenced on Wednesday in Kogi east and will spread to the West and Central part of the state .
He said the operation aresst,detain and frame up was already consummated by the state government and critical security agencies in the state,with police at the forefront to detain prominent PDP members in the state
He warned the state government on the consequences of allowing the masses to take the laws into their hands,and possible break down of law and order in the state
