I resolved to go off political documentations, not because I am no longer hopeful of a redefined Nigeria devoid of corruption, nepotism, terrorism and poverty, but because a political snickersnee has been launched into this space to ougslaught perceived enemies of certain politicians and or political group, I made a return because I can never trade the interest of teaming population to a “tit for tat”. I understand that Kogi East is currently bumfuzzled which undoubtedly plunge the zone into unnecessary cattywampus hence the need to wade in my voice in a bid to correct the lollygagging and brouhaha playing out in the land.
Central to this post is the dangerous attitude of our political office holders and those that seeks elective offices within the purview of our political participation as a people. It is a known fact that tend to sphere around thier political interests, just like a leopard that never change spots, kogi East politicians has never changed from reaching out to the teaming population most especially the orphanage homes few days to thier election with professional photographers using sophisticated equipments to enable them flood the social media with pictures from the scene just to gain public endorsement or applause.
It would also be interesting to note that, wether politicians in this category Win or lose thier bids, this will be the last time vulnerable inhabitants has the chance to see and feel loved by them as they have to wait for another four years to see such care and concern, 87% of Kogi East politicians adopt this strategy, this clearly portrays their feeble political Wills and it go a long to uncovering how slothful and terrible they are in Nigerian political landscape.
This is not a malarkey, but a penny for thought burn out of pandiculation, accosted by a gleaming and deep reflection of the current relationship that exists between the teaming population and the political elites in our Land.
To get it right, the elites must prioritise the need to surreptitiously regiment our political arena with Viable political strategies as well as the necessary rigidity as we bid to compete favourably against other region in kogi state and beyond, this is not a favour, but a prerequisite that must be handled with outmost priority if we must salvage our degrading reputation in Nigeria political arena.
