Kogi East PDP, celebrate ex-governor, Capt. Idris Wada says the state enjoyed peace While Wada reigned.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has congratulated the former Governor of Kogi State, Capt. Idris Wada , as he attains the age of 71st.

PDP in a statement by its Zonal Chairman,Alhaji Momoh Pele in Anyigba on Thursday, said it celebrated Capt. Idris Wada for the dynamism, transparency and resourcefulness he had brought into governance in Kogi state during his reigned as an executive governor of the state.

PDP said that Capt. Idris Wada had shown an uncommon mettle as an accomplished administrator, bringing in his vast professional experience, honesty, transparency while in office as Executive Governor of the state, the virtue that has disappeared since the ruling All Progressives Congress APC took over in a very controversial election.

Momoh Pele said the state now on auto reversal called on PDP faithful across Kogi East to put their differences aside for the common interest of the state, Pele expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party will win comes general election 2023 .

Momoh Pele said “Indeed, the PDP is proud of Capt. Wada giant strides and resilience in the areas of job creation, poverty alleviation, infrastructural expansion, like River Niger embarkment which is now abandoned, Nigeria Korea academic exchange program, Kogi State University, Anyigba which was given approval to establish a Medical School by the National Universities Commission. Following a resource verification in September 2012, and subsequent admission of the first set of medical students in the same year, the political will of the governor set in motion the process for establishing a permanent site for the Teaching Hospital now abandoned by the APC Government, wealth creation and economic and political inclusion to the benefit of his people.”

The party prayed to God to grant Capt. Idris Wada many more years in good health to the glory of His name and service to humanity.
