Your Excellency Sir,
I respectfully write to commiserate with you over the transition of your beloved mother at 101 years of age.
My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your family since I received news of the passing of mama.
I share in the grief of losing the matriarch of your family who was clearly a source of inspiration, a confidant, a counselor and pillar to you, your siblings, family and the community in several ways.
As it is, we can only now confidently look back with thanksgiving to Almighty God for the impactful life and sustainable legacies of your beloved mother which we shall immortalize in our hearts.
For me, rather than elicit pain, Mama’s call-to-glory has provoked deep-thinking in form, size and shape and I pray that you will draw strength and comfort from her source now and always.
I also pray God Almighty to grant you the needed fortitude at this time of sorrow, and close by requesting you to find solace in the belief that Mama has gone to rest in the bosom of her Creator.
Once more, my sincere condolence to you and all members of your family.
Victor Alewo Adoji
