Kogi: COVID-19, Anyigba Chief Imam Bans Islamic Gathering

 

The chief Imam of Anyigba, Alh. Musa Yahaya has banned all forms of Islamic gathering following the state government ordered.

In his statement yesterday, the chief Imam has advised Anyigba Muslims community to avoid social distancing because of this pandemic.

He mentioned that, all Islamic programs should be suspended as ordered by the government or should be observe in a low key of people not more than ten (10) such as naming ceremonies, Nikkah, Mawlud celebration etc.

Adding that, is un islamic for disobeying the people in authority in a conditions like ours.
