Hon. Faruk interacted with press men on the reasons why he dump the ruling party.
Hon. Faruk said the party structures has been turn to toy by some individuals, where the feelings of the large masses does not count in decision making. That the shape at which the party is now, was never the APC of their dream in Kogi state from inception.
The party leaderships are not trustworthy and lack sincerity of purpose in their activities, Hon. Faruk said.
That for the party leadership to impose a candidate on the party members, and the candidate is from same ward and town with the seating governor without considering the feelings of the large number of Kogites, is a terrible plan to collapse the state completely.
Hon. Also use the opportunity to address the Kogi youth to stay away from the politics of vandalization and victimization, where one will be use for deathly assignment and later be called criminal. Specifically youth from lokoja should avoid all sort of election dirty games because lokoja is for all of us and if we are used to destroy ourselves by ourselves, the spirit of togetherness and peaceful coexistence in lokoja will never forgive you, He said..
Lokoja is one among the key deciding factors on electioneering processes and conducts and as such APC has decided to play with our traditional institutions by politicizing it and also causing more traditional rancors in the state, which is undiplomatic in nature. Therefore nobody should allow himself be used against his brother from the hood.
Hon. Said 70% of those who are in APC carrying the cross of the impose candidate of APC are more of Another party (anti-party)than the APC,starting from the ward, local govt and state govt executives and party members.
Hon. Remembered his experience during 2003 election where large decamping of members of other parties into Prince Audu’s party were taking place on daily bases and at end point they were all working against Audu and are always with Audu but working against him underground. That is exactly what am foreseeing in APC, because so many stakeholders( serving commissioners and SA’s) has been planted in APC as spy, Hon. Faruk said

Faruk further notify the press men that he resigned his position and membership because he has never practice anti-party before now and wouldn’t want to start and he said “I resigned my position as lokoja Local govt APC youth leader and seized to be member of the Ruling party APC and I have since submitted my letters to the ward chairman and local government chairman and so many stakeholders are with me on my stand“
