Kidnappers Strike Again on Ejule-Aloma Road, Leave Behind Corpse and Abduct Occupants

The Ejule-Aloma road in Ofu local government has once again fallen prey to the menace of kidnapping, as a group of armed abductors struck recently, leaving a trail of terror in their wake. The incident occurred when the kidnappers intercepted a vehicle heading to the southeastern part of Nigeria, forcing the occupants into the bush and leaving behind a corpse that was being transported for burial.

This brazen attack has raised concerns about the growing presence of kidnappers in the area, who seem to be operating with impunity. The Ejule-Aloma road, which serves as a critical link to the entire southeastern region of Nigeria, has become a hotspot for kidnapping activities, with the zone now considered a stronghold for these criminal elements.

The repeated attacks on this road have left residents and travelers in a state of fear, as the kidnappers seem to be emboldened by their lack of accountability. The authorities have been called upon to take urgent action to address this growing threat and ensure the safety and security of the people using this critical transportation artery.

The incident has also raised questions about the effectiveness of the security measures in place, and the need for a more robust response to tackle the menace of kidnapping in the region. As the situation continues to unfold, one thing is clear: the people of Ejule-Aloma and the surrounding areas demand action to protect their lives and livelihoods.
