Kidnapped Police officer still in captivity after ransom

A Police officer kidnapped at Maraban Rido, the out sketch of Kaduna state, is still held in captivity, after payment of ransom, the Police Public Relations officer, PPRO, Kaduna command, DSP Yakubu Sabo has revealed.

The officer was kidnapped two weeks ago alongside a Police nursing mother and a civilian Mr. Robert B. Kwasau.
The PPRO who disclosed this to our correspondent on Saturday in a phone conversation said the Police nursing mother and the civilian have been set free,  but the officer policeman was however yet to be released even though ransom has been paid.
“We heard that the civilian and the police woman with new born baby have been released, but we have not yet had of the policeman been released, even though the ransom has been paid. But whether he has been out of the place, and is somewhere, we don’t know yet”, he said.
Mr. Robert B. Kwasau’ a civilian, a Police Nursing Mother and a Policeman, and other residents yet to be identified were reportedly kidnapped in their residents in maraban rido, chikun local government some weeks ago.
