Chinese contractors, CHEC handley the dualization of Keffi-Markudi road has been cautioned motorists ahead of a blasting operation between the hours of 10:00am to 5:00pm on Monday, September 02.
The company urged motorists to take another route to their destination if possible.
This was contained in a notice issued on Friday, August 30.
According to the notice, the nature of the blasting work is highly dangerous, and urged motorists and users of the road to take great caution.
“Ensure kids are staying inside and pet are kept properly during this time.
“Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the operation and thanks for your usual cooperation”, the statement reads.
The operation will take place at the site of 1klm away from Eggon town (to Akwanga at right-hand side).
