Kano Politics: Commisioner, 44 LGs Chairmen Visit Kwankwanso

The Kano State Commissioner for Local Government, Hon. Murtala Garo, has led the chairmen of 44 local government areas in the state on a condolence visit to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, over the death of his younger brother, Inuwa Kwankwaso.

The commissioner and local governments’ chairmen, who expressed sadness over the demise of Inuwa, prayed for the repose of the deceased soul.

PlatinumPost reports that Governor Abdullahi Ganduje had earlier in a visit to Kwankwaso, condoled the former governor on behalf of the state government and the people of the state.

Inuwa, who is the immediate younger brother of Senator Kwankwaso reportedly died in the early hours of Monday 20th December, 2021 at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after a protracted illness at the age of 64.

He was a retired civil servant and an Agricultural Engineer.

The deceased is survived by his wife and two daughters: Barr. Nafisa Inuwa and Zainab Inuwa.
