Kaduna: Gunmen Kill Abducted Seminarian, Free Three Others

One of the four Seminarians abducted by gunmen from Good Shepherd Major Seminary, Kaduna, Master Nnadi Michael has been found dead.

News of his death was broken late Saturday by the Registrar of the Seminary, Rev. Fr. Dr. Joel Usman, in a short memo obtained by ElombahNews.

This is to inform all our friends and well wishers that the remaining abducted Seminarian has been Found dead.

May the soul of our Brother Nnadi Michael and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace with the Lord. Amen.
It could be recalled that four students of the seminary school, including Master Nnadi ,were abducted by armed gunmen from their hostels in the night of January 9, 2020.

Earlier, three students of the seminary school abducted, were released by their captors with Master Nnadi still missing.

Following their release, the Registrar of the Seminary announced in a brief statement on Friday in Kaduna, that the three have been released with one still missing.

He, however, wrote:

“One is still at large. We thank you our brothers and sisters for your prayers in our travails.

“Kindly continue to pray for the remaining one and all those who are still in the hands of kidnappers.”
The Kaduna State Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Yakubu Sabo, also confirmed the release of the students, adding that one of the victims is still in captivity.
