JUST IN: Senate commences screening of ministerial nominees

The Nigerian Senate on Monday, commenced the screening of 28-man ministerial nominees transmitted to the National Assembly by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu last week.

The exercise began at about 1: 30pm at the plenary on Monday.

The first nominee to be screened was Abubakar Momoh, a nominee from Edo State.

At the time of filing this report, former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike is being screened.
