Just In : PDP Wins Cross River Assembly’s bye election lost House of Representatives’ bye-election

Despite the promise by Cross River governor, Ben Ayade, to deliver all the Saturday’s bye-elections in the state for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has clinched the Akpabuyo State Constituency poll.

Ekeng Effiom Edet of PDP won the seat with 5,866 over the APC candidate who scored 5,363.

OBSERVERSTIMES earlier report that in the House of Representatives’ bye-election, the candidate of the APC for the Ogoja /Yala Federal Constituency, Mr. Jude Ngaji won with 22,778 votes ahead candidate of the PDP, Mr. Mike Usibe who scored 20,590.
