Just In: OMA IGALA NIGHT Now Holds Ist Quartre Of 2024

The convener of Oma Igala Night, Ambassador Sunday Attabo has announced that the annual socio-cultural event – Oma Igala Night – would not hold this year after all.

In a statement issued from his office Abuja, Attabo attributed the shifting of the event to the frantic involvement of Igala sons and daughters in the November 11 governorship election.

He said the election which involved virtually all Igala people engaged them in frenetic campaigns and travels that it would be counter-productive to hold Oma Igala Night programme at the time it should hold this year.

He expressed his regrets and sincerely extends a hearty “thank you” to all Igala for the good fight they put up in the election.

“Regardless of the outcome of the election, Igala unity front is unmistakable,” Ambassador Attabo asserted.

He said Oma Igala Voice would not relent in its mission of advocacy and sensitization in view of its positive effects on the various dimensions of Igala nationhood.

He made particular reference to a number of young Igala boys his sensitization and advocacy helped discharge from thuggery and are now back to school with his sponsorship.

He enjoined Igala sons and daughters to sustain the momentum of their support for Oma Igala Night as it has been garnished to serve their interest in many ways better than before.
