JUST IN: Nigeria Loses Yet Another Important Personality To Coronavirus

Barely three weeks ago, another billionaire, Bolu Akin-Olugbade died of COVID-19, another Business mogul, Alhaji Umar Saro has passed away due to the deadly virus.

The Ilorin-born industrialist died of coronavirus at a private hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Saro, a billionaire, was friends with Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Rasak Okoya, and the likes. The deceased is survived by his wife, Atinuke, who clocked 70 recently, and many children.

Saro was an in-law to a famous designer, Lisa Folawiyo. Lisa’s sister, Sike, who was attacked on the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge two weeks ago, is married to Saro’s son, Yusuf.
Prominent individuals have reacted to the death of the socialite. Femi Gbajabiamila, House of Representatives Speaker; Kwara Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Soun of Ogbomosoland, Oba Oladunni Ajagungbade, among others have expressed sadness.
