The first class -monarch of Odolu Chiefdom was kidnapped on Saturday evening by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers very close to Odolu town, he was kidnapped at awe bridge community in Kogi State.
Although the police authorities and Kogi state government are yet to confirm the the abduction of first class traditional ruler, a source within the traditional council, told THE OBSERVERSTIMES that he was abducted along with two of his aides,
Last week Mr Yakubu Abuh was also kidnapped in the same Odolu from his farm he was released after ransoms was paid.
Another kidnapped victims along that side is Yakubu Abu,a Staff of Area court, Odolu, in Igala Mela Odolu in Kogi state.
The community leader who disclosed this to OBSERVERSTIMES called on residents to support security agencies with intelligence information to aid in the fight against banditry and kidnapping in the state.
The leader said Odolu area in Igala Mela is not different from Abuja-Kaduna road but unfortunately the government is not doing anything to end this kidnapping activity which is becoming daily business in Igala Mela Odolu.
