Just In: Former President Jonathan Pays Condolences Visit To Yar’Adua Family in Kastina.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan visited Katsina State to pay his respects to the Yar’Adua family following the passing of their matriarch, Hajia Dada Yar’Adua.

In a statement, Jonathan described Hajia Dada as an epitome of motherhood and a great mentor to many, and expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Katsina State, Dikko Umar Radda, and the people of Katsina for their warm welcome.

Jonathan’s visit was a show of respect for his former boss and friend, late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, and a testament to the enduring bond between the two families.

The former President’s message read:

“We paid a condolence visit to Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua and other members of the Yar’Adua family, today, in Katsina, Katsina State, over the passing of the family Matriarch, Hajia Dada Yar’Adua.

We will continue to cherish the memory of Hajia Dada who was not only an epitome of motherhood and the mother of my former boss and friend, late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua, but also a great mentor to many across the country.

I thank Katsina Governor, H.E. Dikko Umar Radda, the Deputy Governor, H.E. Faruk Lawal Jobe, state government officials and the people of Katsina State for a warm welcome. GEJ”
