According to reports, a segment of the documentary discloses how certain church members and staff purportedly concealed the truth from the congregation, a situation that persisted for over two decades.
A snippet circulating online features accounts from individuals claiming to be survivors of abuse, rape, and molestation. They describe experiences of exploitation, manipulation, and silence allegedly perpetrated by TB Joshua.
However, David Hundeyin expressed skepticism about the documentary in a post on X, contending that investigating a deceased individual who cannot face justice is not a credible endeavor.
He asserted, “As I said last year, what BBC Africa does is content farming disguised as investigative reporting. I do not take them seriously.”
Hundeyin continued, stating, “A documentary about a dead man who can’t be brought to justice is the height of their investigative reporting. This is what BBC Africa excels at—glorified tabloid journalism masquerading as important, hard-hitting stories.”
