In the bid to meet the target beneficiaries and quality data assurance, the Africa Youth Growth Foundation (AYGF) have just concluded commodities distribution, monitoring and supportive supervision to the 111 wards across the 10 local government areas in Kogi state.
The three week long activity which started in the first week of November ended in the third week with refresher training on basic strategies for massive mobilization and quality data management.
The Mobilization and Communication Officer of the AYGF, Amb. Ahmed Suleiman made this known in a press release on Saturday.
Ahmed called on all stakeholders to be supportive and take ownership of the ANRiN/World Bank supported program.
He confirmed that the commodities under AYGF nutrition intervention were distributed to all designated facilities with buffers stocks to ensure that there will be no incidence of out of stock situations.
Micro nutrient powder (MNP), Albendazol (deworming), Vitamin A, Iron Folic Acid (IFA), Zinc/ORS and
IPTP were part of the commodities distributed.
