JOS: Woman Who Acted Porn Video In Jos For N30k Commits Suicide.

A woman who acted pornography video in Jos the plateau state capital for N30k has committed suicide.

Although she is not the offender, she has since taken her life.

Other ladies collected N30k each to act ponography videos that have surfaced in Jos town, which has made one of them, a married woman to suicide.

The videos that was released on the internet have been downloaded many times with some persons having them in phones and ipads.

The identity of the ladies in the porn videos have since been known while many of them are now living in shame and rejection WAR learned.

Mr. Emeka, who lives at the Rayfield area of Jos, and was alleged to be working for a foreign agent had lured the ladies to a hotel and paid them N30k with a promise to pay them another N100k there after.

He however gave them a firm promise that the video will not be shown in Nigeria, but abroad.

A promise that has since failed as the videos have surfaced online and have been downloaded by some Jos residents.

WAR learned that both married and single ladies were engaged in the act and collected N30k each.

Although WAR learned that the videos have been taken down from the internet, that was coming late since many have already downloaded them.

Some of the ladies in the videos are being rehabilitated.

Mr. Jemimah Mbaya, Pastor of the Latterhouse Christian Centre in Jos, who now counsels some of the girls in the video confirmed one of them has committed suicide.

The pastor who was not happy about how the ladies sold their pride for money, has since appealed to the public not to stigmatize the them, but show them love.

One of the ladies in the video who spoke to Daily Trust journalist, confirming the authenticity of the video and the death of their member, recounted how she was approached at a relaxation joint, and was told people are looking for women with certain physical attributes to feature in a movie that ‘‘pays well’’.

She said she honoured the invitation and visited the hotel with her friend where both of them participated in the act and were paid N30k each.

We were taken to a hotel where we had sex with Emeka and others throughout the night while a Camera man recorded all action she said.

She added, that the lady who took them to the hotel got N20k for bringing two persons at a time.

The sex was one turn after the other while she waited in the bedroom and her friend had her own sex in the sitting room where she later joined them and played a part with Emeka.

The lady said the video was shot a year ago and another of the lady said hers was two years ago.

Both ladies disclosed that since after the video was released, they have been having problem with their family and relatives while their boyfriends are avoiding them.

Mr. Tyopev Terna, the Plateau state police command spokesperson while confirming the incident said, they heard about the trending video, but nobody came to the station to make any formal complain.

He appealed to the ladies involved not to be ashamed, but come to the police to give briefs that will help in the investigation and tracking of those behind the act.

Mary Abah Izam, the Chairperson of International Federation of Female Lawyers (FIDA) Plateau State chapter, condemned the act describing it as unacceptable, crime against woman dignity and right, as well as an offence against the nation.’’

The Plateau sate government has since kicked against the act and promised to bring those behind the act to justice.

Mr. Dan Manjang, the state Commissioner of Information, disclosed that the state will carry out a thorough investigation into the matter, pointing out, that is a crime against the government and people of the state.
