It Was A Successful Congress, PDP, Caretaker Members endorse Ad-hoc Delegates election in Kogi.

Members of caretaker committee of the peoples democratic party (PDP) in kogi state has thrown their weight behind the outcome of the ad-hoc delegates’ election held on saturday across the state.

Addressing the press on monday evening in lokoja, honourable Sunday Shigaba ,spokesperson of the members, described the election as free, fair, and credible, meeting the requirements laid down by the party.

Shigaba an experienced politician , a former Deputy majority leader of the state house of assembly and current member of the caretaker committee, said the election took place across 239 wards without noticeable hitches, contrary to reservations by some party members.

He emphasized that the congress committee, empowered by the party’s constitution, conducted the election, and neither the technical committee nor the substantive state executive committee could interfere with the exercise._

Shigaba dissociated himself and other committee members from claims by some members to undermine the will of the majority, stating that the exercise was peaceful, hitch-free, and should be upheld.
