Interesting Time as the controversial Kogi governor is now hobnobbing with known critics and opponents of his adopted father, Pres. Buhari.

No one know or can tell the direction of Gov. Yahaya Bello’s campaign heading, regards his blind Presidential ambition.

A self confessed godson of President Buhari who has embarked on a bogus consultations with larger spectrum of Nigerians especially the entertainment industry players and old retired footballers.

Ironically, the controversial Kogi governor is now hobnobbing with known critics and opponents of his adopted father, Pres. Buhari.

A fortnight ago, he strangely hosted and announced publicly that Femi Fani Kayode, a vocal number one critics of the President has joined the ruling party APC. He FFK denied and declared that he remain in his party and that he has no plans of quitting his party PDP.

Only yesterday, Gov. Bello was with former Pres. Obasanjo in Abuja as part of his ongoing consultations, this, in total disregard to the bitter relationship between his father and the former. He went further and describe Obasanjo as his mentor.

As it is today, Gov. Bello May be charting a new course for himself and possibly too, a new party. One does not need a soothsayer to tell that Gov Bello is at variance with his party leaders and close colleagues over his ambition. Party leaders and northern state governors have declared publicly that the party would zone the presidential ticket to the south. One of the proponent of this is Gov. Nasir Elrufai of kaduna state.
Already, Gov. Bello is now a big liability and burden to his close friend, Gov Buni of Yobe state who double as the national caretaker chairman of the party.

And glaringly, Gov Bello is standing alone and on his own. He may be heading to a big trouble that may sink him politically.

Time shall tell!
