INEC complies with Court order, suspends collation of Bauchi guber poll result

Few hours after a Federal High Court in Abuja issued an injunction, the Independent National Electoral Commission  (INEC) has immediately called-off the collation of governorship election in Bauchi state.
Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Ibrahim Abdullahi, who disclosed this announced in Bauchi said it was in line with a court order, restraining INEC from resuming collation.
A federal high court in Abuja had ordered the commission not to proceed with the exercise based on a motion filed by the incumbent Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mohammed Abubakar.
