Igala Vanguard have commended President Muhammadu Buhari over the appointment of Col. Milland Dixion Dikio (rtd) as coordinator of the programme.
Commending Buhari, Thursday, Engr Lawnrece Akpa , said the president had done well for appointing a worthy son of Igala Dr Abdulkarim Ali Obaje, as the National Coordinator (NC) for Federal CARES Support Unit, Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES).

OBSERVERS TIMES recall that the Federal government of Nigeria has approved the appointment of Dr Abdulkarim Ali Obaje, as the National Coordinator (NC) for Federal CARES Support Unit, Nigeria COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES).
Dr Obaje brings on board over twenty years of work experience with public service and development partners. Currently, he is the National Coordinator of the Community and Social Development Project (CSDP).
The NG-CARES is an initiative of the Federal government of Nigeria with assistance from the World Bank to mitigate the effect of COVID- 19 on the rural economy using CSDP, Fadama and Bank of Industry platforms.
