Dr Salifu, a Community leader, Philantrophist and Opinion Moulder has contributed greatly to the Igala nation, Kogi and Nigeria at large in leveraging contacts and roles to employ and empower many Nigerians in the Banking and other sectors of the economy. Dr Isa was particularly instrumental to opening up of branches of banks in Kogi East (at a time) that ensured massive micro-empowerment of both young and the old. A quite achiever, he did all these without noise.

His communal efforts adoned across both Kogi and Nigeria, as he has assisted in the building of many Churches and Mosques, sponsored both Christians and Muslims to Jerusalem and Makka, respectively, across Igala land, Kogi state and Nigeria. His life of religious tolerance is exemplary and worthy of emulation, particularly at this time in our nation building efforts.

Dr Salifu placed many people on scholarships both within and outside the country and has been a rallying point to all community activities in Agbeji, his ancestral home, Kogi East, Kogi State and Nigeria at large. He has equally given tremendous support to schools and capacity building initiatives across the land.

Dr Salifu has been consistent, dependable, reliable and trusted and therefore earned the admiration and trust of His Royal Highness, Ejeh Dekina and his Council for his continued selfless service to humanity and Igalaland, hence the conferment of the Omachi Chieftaincy title, a High Chief title.

He is the Head of Salifu’s family in Agbeji and the son of late and foremost Madaki Agbeji, Alhaji Salifu Egah (Aju Akwu) who passed on in 1993.

Expected at the occassion to felicitate with him, are dignataries from all walks of life, family members, colleagues, well wishers, all and sundry to grace the event as man of the people.
