Igala land At A Crossroad: Engr Ocean Ahiaba Salutes Professor Armstrong Idachaba’s Courage.

A former Director, Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Engr Ocean Ahiaba said it is high time for the Igala nation to take the bull by the horns by asserting more on it’s political fame.

Ahiaba dropped this message while assessing the paper presented by a renowned scholar and former Director General, National Broadcasting Commission NBC, Professor Armstrong Aduku Idachaba over the weekend in Anyigba.

“This paper carries all the elements of a well researched, most thought-provoking paper. The historical accounts are credible as well as the synopsis of the present state of affairs in Igala kingdom. ” He stated.

“The analysis of the facts and historical records are convincing and relevant.

One must commend Armstrong for this intellectual work. He visited our youths with a deserving admonition but nevertheless followed immediately with thoughts and guidelines for a way forward out of the present quagmire. To me I see this end-stage of the Prof’s paper as a clarion call and a general invitation to take further necessary steps to draw up practical solutions such as engaging the cross-section of the youths for brainstorming to work out possibly a template to confront this monster of irresponsible life-style of cultism, youth delinquency and vandalism that promises no future. ”

“This is where credible and responsible organizations of the Igala People inclusive of Club 582 must step out with initiative to address and stem the ugly trend in our land. The best way to appreciate Prof Idachaba’s work is not to keep quiet on the paper. We must rise up and do something.
Let me leave it here as I say, over to us.”
Engr Ocean Ahiaba concluded.

He urged the Igala nation to draw a line between the past and now and resolve to fight for the political emancipation of the race.
