Igala House: Crisis Rocks ICDA Over Building Commissioning,No Crisis in ICDA, Auditor

The igala house constructed by the Pro igala cultural group called Igala Cultural Development Agenda ICDA ready for commissioning is ushering in a new breeze of misunderstanding among the leadership with the Board of Trustee  BoT Pushing strongly for the indigenisation of the commissioning project while some executive members  who want to please the state government are insisting on  Governor Bello bracing the occasion, the House which suppose to be the symbol of Igala unity  House from the inception enjoyed the support of igala topnotch and personalities, but being politicised at the completion .
The edifice already ready for commissioning has created alot of bad blood over who to commission the edifice, with the Executive  sharply divided on the idea of allowing the state governor to commission the igala house at the expense of Attah of Igala,whose efforts and ICDA led to the completion of the project Looking for projects to commission on the invitation of Mr President,Kogi Chief of Staff and other top government functionaries along with the state government apologists, had insisted that Governor Bello should commission the edifice to boost his political image in Igala land, so as to give him unfettered access to political victory in the forthcoming election in November.

The source who spoke to THE OBSERVERS TIMES on  condition of anonymity disclose that “The Governor ordinarily has nothing to dow with Igala culture considering the damages the recent endorsement of Yahaya Bello by Attah of Igala has caused in the entire Igala Kingdom, we thought that by allowing the Attah to take credit of the Igala House will remedy the entire mess and raise sympathy for Attah of Igala is seriously facing criticism, but unfortunately some people want to politicise the whole cultural affairs ”

A member of The Board of trustees argued that,many prominent members of Igala extraction also contributed to the completion of the said edifice,among them is former Governor Ibrahim Idris,former ministers,former ambassadors,current and former members of the National Assembly,Dr Victor Alewo Adoji and other prominent sons and daughters of the area,saying this negates the decision of the government to hijack the commissioning program .
Reacting to this development the ICDA NationaL Auditor  Musa Abuh Musa said it is a mere rumour, that some bad elements are only desperate to see the downfall of the only active pro-igala cultural group that there is no single misunderstanding or crisis in the ICDA leadership affirming that the ICDA has the procedure of resolving it crisis if at all there is any, also praised  the leadership of ICDA.
The source said The Board insisted that with the current political realities,it will be a disservice to the people of Igala nation to allow non Igala,not minding the political status to take the glory of the igala nation and its extractions Few weeks away to the commissioning,strong arguments have ensued between the representatives of the state government and that of the ICDA,on the choice of personality to carry out the commissioning the igala nation and its indigenes belong to many political parties especially the high profile individuals whose political inclination had gone beyond one political family With the present development,the crises may degenerate as both side have taking recognition of commissioning the house built in the centre of Igala land,Anyigba, attempt by our correspondent to reach BoT Chairman to get his reaction prove abortive.
