The Niger state people’s Democratic party’s PDP has blasted the All progressive congress APC led administration of increased of the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida university Lapai ,calls to reduce the fees adding that we built it to educate poor not a business
The Niger state PDP has also called on the management of the university to urgently revert back to its former school fees before the recent excessive increase
The PDP therefore frown at the increase in the school fees and call on the management of the university to be considerate as the spirit behind the establishment of the varsity is not a business venture but to give education to children of the poor at an affordable rate
The PDP said through the late governor kure and his visionary team saw the need to have a university that will cater for the educational needs of the poor nigerlite and the establishment of IBBUL but under APC it is now a money milling machine
