Ahead of the much anticipated 2023 Presidential elections that has submerged the Media Space, the ruling All Progressives Congress appears to be facing the problem of who becomes a running mate to the APC Presidential Flagbearer, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who clinched the ticket about a month ago.
Reacting to the current reality engulfing the All Progressives Congress is the current Governor of Borno State, Prof Babangana Umar Zulum, who addressed the speculation surrounding his chances of becoming the next Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to him, he’s not lobbying to occupy such position in Nigeria Political landscape, adding that his current adventure is to bring dividends of democracy to bear in Borno and he’s committed to actualizing that.
The Governor noted that, if it’s the will of Almighty God, he will accept the call to serve as Vice President Of Nigeria.
OBSERVERSTIMES, learnt that the statement was a reaction to rumours emanating from some quarters that the Borno State Governor is favoured to deputize the Lagos based Politician.
