I don’t negotiate with Kidnappers, Gov. Yahaya Bello replies kidnappers asking for N100 Million for the release of local Govt. Boss.

 

Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello this morning replied the abductors of Yagba West local government chairman asking for the sum of one hundred million Naira for the release of the kidnapped local government boss. The govenor made this known why speaking with Channels TV this morning monitored by the OBSERVERS TIMES

Bello said he is gathering intelligent reports on why the commissioner was killed and the local government boss kidnapped and threatened to arrest those who publish stories of kidnapping in the state. The governor insisted that it’s a political attempt to discredit his administration efforts in making Kogi state the most secure state in Nigeria.

The govenor said the position of Senator Smart Adeyemi on the floor of the senate concerning the security challenges facing the country is his personal opinion. He added that, Senator Smart expressed his opinion as a Nigerian regardless of his political affiliation; and that, Senator Smart is known for speaking truth to power.

The govenor blamed politicians as the brain behind the insecurity in the nation, imploring Nigerians to shine their eyes ahead of 2023 general election. He said the bandits are working for those who want to discredit the administration of president Buhari. The governor queried the whereabout of the money allocated for revamping of the Ajaokuta steel company and dredging of Lokoja inland way- that was initiated by the late Yaradua administration.

The govenor said President and the Governors are doing their best for Nigeria calling on Nigerians to hold their state government accountable. He expressed dissatisfaction with the minister of Mines and steel, the Minister Transport for so many Abandoned projects. He suggested that if were to be the president, “I will fires any minister who fails to live-up to the expectation” he concluded.
