Honourable *Barry Moses Idakwo* was the Former Liason Officer LO2 and Vice Chairman,Ankpa local government in 2015.
He was also the People’s Democratic Party PDP candidate in Ankpa 11 to the State House of Assembly in the last 2019 general election, where he propagated the need to support the real democratic practice,popularly known as ‘ *Uja Ache Movement ‘*
This was in addition to his several political adventure and sojourn geared towards the socio-economic advancement of his Immediate Community,Ankpa and Kogi state at large.
Before then , Honourable *Barry Moses Idakwo* had made a remarkable stint both in the public and private sector with outstanding perfomance in all ramifications.
His decision to join Politics is devoid of personal interest, inordinate ambition,but geared towards the upliftment of ordinary people, society through supports and provision of well thought out social services.
The Former Vice Chairman of Ankpa local government, Former Supervisor Councillor ( Finance) and Retired Director, from KOGI Sate Civil Service, is a known grassroot politician with genuine followerships, whose basic intention is to improve the welfare of his people, through political participation.
He is a man With many MERIT AWARDS from NYSC, Civil Service and his Community for hard work and diligence.
He doggedly confronted the ruling APC during the last election by posing a strong and genuine political strength towards winning the last 2019 Ankpa 2 State House Assembly elections to represent the people of his Constituency.
It is on record that Honourable *Barry Moses Idakwo* confronted a strong political leader span for decades, and had a bright chances towards victory, in a keenly contested election,before he was rigged out.
He has a unique political qualities as a *fearless, dogged, popular enigma and Politician with large followerships,* that confronted neck to neck the ruling party in Kogi state,which gave PDP overwhelming victory in the last Governorship election in Ankpa local government,Kogi east,and Kogi state.
A strong advocate and believer of good governance,this prompted Honourable Barry Idakwo to float ‘ *Uja Ache’ Political Movement* ,not only in Ankpa but the entire Kogi state.
Idakwo remain consistent in opposition party with a strong belief of ascending to leadership position, not only in Kogi state,but the entire country,Nigeria towards a virile Nation.
