Hon. Halims Greet Christians At Christmas, Says Nigeria Will Overcome Security Challenges By Muhammed Nasiru

The Honorable Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has greeted Christian faithfuls as they mark year 2021 Christmas celebration.

In a statement issued on Friday by Muhammed Nasiru, the Coordinator of Information, Visual and Strategic Operations to Hon. Halims, Christmas was described as a time to show love and compassion to not just family and friends but those in need.

While congratulating the people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State in particular, the Federal Lawmaker urged Christians to pray for the nation in overcoming its security challenges that is threatening its unity and progress.

According to him, Nigeria is and remains an indivisible country of different tribes, religions and ethnic nationalities bounded by God and regardless of the evil machination of evil forces, the country will continue to thrive in line with the visions of its founding fathers.

Rep. Halims added that the only panacea to the nation’s security challenges is love and so urged Christians and non Christians alike to be charitable to one another as the year ends adding that nothing breeds love faster than the act of sharing from lots, especially with those in need.

He concluded his Christmas message by reassuring the people of his Constituency that he will continue to work hard in ensuring that he gives the area the best stewardship it deserves in a view to consolidate on the numerous successes he has recorded within less than three years in office.
