Hon.Abdulghfar DIrisu Condoles Kogi State Commissioner Over Death of Father

The National Chairman of United Progressive Political Parties, (UPPP), Hon. Bala Abdulghafar Dirisu has condoled with the Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Mineral Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu on the death of his father Imam Umar Abubakar.

Imam Umar Abubakar died on the 14 February 2024 at Gegu Beki in Kogi. In his condolence message made available to journalists in Lokoja on Saturday, 24th February, 2024, Hon Dirisu noted that Imam Abubakar lived a good life which was fully dedicated to serving Almighty Allah, humanity and the country .

He further noted that though, the religious leader died at a very ripe age, he would be missed not only by his immediate family alone, but by all the people of the state especially the Muslim Ummah .

The UPPP leader, also prayed that Almighty Allah in his infinite mercies forgive the late imam of his short comings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdausi .

Hon. Dirisu further prayed that Almighty Allah grant Eng. Bashir Gegu and rest of the family, the fortitude to bear this great loss .

“My dear brother, I pray that the Almighty Allah grant you the fortitude to bear this great and irreplaceable loss of your father .

“Indeed, Kogi and the rest of the country mourn with you but then, we are also consoled with the fact that Baba lived a very fulfilled and worthy life.
