HEEBA FOUNDATION BRINGS HOPE TO FLOOD-AFFECTED COMMUNITIES IN MAIDUGURI

In response to the devastating floods that recently ravaged Maiduguri, the Heeba Foundation, a renowned humanitarian organization, has extended a lifeline worth million worth of Naira in aid to affected individuals.

On Saturday, Barrister Fatima Binta Abdu, Founder and Coordinator of the Heeba Foundation, presented millions of Naira and other essential commodities to the affected communities during a heartfelt ceremony.

Distributing the intervention to ensure it gets to deserved and wide beneficiaries,the foundation
Access Bank to print Debit cards loaded with N100,000 each and that was given to 100 people at the ceremony for them to go and withdraw cash by themselves. Then the remaining money was transferred to different accounts of the affected people while
Hot meals ,Bread, packaged Water, Mosquito Nets and Medication were distributed to the people when they were in the camps.

This selfless act exemplifies the foundation’s unwavering commitment to supporting vulnerable populations and alleviating suffering in the face of disaster.

“We are grateful to our donors and supporters who have made this initiative possible,” said Barrister Fatima. “Their kindness will bring solace to those affected and help rebuild their lives.”
