Hon Zakari Alfa has commiserated with families of the late legal icon , Alh. Abdullahi Ibrahim who peacefully transited to the eternal glory yesterday in the Federal Capital Territory after a brief illness, a consummate legal professional whose entire life was dedicated to serving humanity has gone to meet with the Lord. Although, Hon Alfa expressed his shock over the demise of the man he referred to as a Father, he lived a fulfilled life , one that is not only worthy of emulation but will also remain topical in generations to come.
In his words, “today I have lost a Father, a benefactor, a great adviser and a man who completely exemplified humility whose impacts in the lives of many will never be obliterated.
Hon Zakari Alfa in his statement signed by Suleiman Alhassan said Alh Abdullahi Ibrahim was a rare paragon of humility, a philanthropist of great standard and never a bigoted character who quitely raised an empire of great men and women cutting across the country.” It will be difficult to sufficiently eulogize this personality, a symbol of peace, an elder with uncommon wisdom and fatherly dispositions which transcended tribe and religion. “Just like everyone , I will surely miss him for his honest fatherly advise and commitment to making life better for those were privileged to have been tutelaged under his guidance of love.” “No mere mortal is infallible but Alh Ibrahim was by no means a failure, he was a huge success in all ramifications as he strived to recreate himself through his numerous humanitarian impacts that have transformed lives” .No doubt,he has Left a vacuum and a benchmark of honesty that will be difficult to fill.” End of quote.

Today, the good people of Kogi state and by extension,Nigeria at large have lost a true statesman who was a rallying point for the young leaders as he provided great mentorship to help redefine their leadership style , one that will reflect on the service to humanity.
Essence precedes existence in humanity which is ultimately to serve God through the sacrifices we make to make life better for God creation,Alh Abdullahi Ibrahim embraced this philosophy and made a difference in his philanthropic gestures which are legacies that live on forever.
While in a sad mood, I want to congratulate the people of Okaba in Ankpa local government to have been blessed with a man of this quality. His type, we may not see in decades to come because of his objectivity and bluntness on issues concerning his people. I sympathize with his immediate family and let’s recognize the inevitability of death in humanity as i pray that God gives you the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. May the soul of Alh Abdullahi Ibrahim rest in Aljanatul Fir’dous.
