A Former All Progressives Congress Governoship Aspirant in the last Kogi State Election and brother to late Prince Abubakar Audu, Prince Yahaya Audu Ohidi, has thanked Gov. Yahaya Bello for his benevolence and for his philanthropic act in providing succour and support to one Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed.
The former Governoship Aspirant in statement he signed to thank Gov. Yahaya Bello, however says Inspite the benevolence and philanthropic gesture by the Governor, there was still the need to set the records straight, as the said Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed is not a relative of the Prince Abubakar Audu.
Accoding to Prince Yahaya Audu Ohidi, the said Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed is not a relative of the late Prince Abubakar Audu, and wants to make it clear to His Excellency, Gov. Yahaya Bello and the general public that he is a relative of the late Prince Audu Abubakar.
Secondly, Prince Yahaya Audu Ohidi disclosed that the late Prince Abubakar Audu never asked Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed to leave his job as was insinuated, rather the said Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed lost his job with First Bank and was unemployed.
Prince Yahaya Audu added that the late Prince Abubakar Audu, being a man of the people and the leader of the Igala Kingdom and Kogi State, said the said Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed being a person from our village Ogbonicha, he found it mandatory to engage him to do something to be able to feed his family, reason why he employed him as secretary to manage his office, as Secretary of his campaign.
The former Governoship Aspirant concluded by thanking Gov. Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, for the benevolence and the philanthropy shown to Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed, said, Alhaji Ibrahim Omale Mohammed, is not by any way near a relative of Late Prince Abubakar Audu by name, ancestral lineage, but from the same village Ogbonicha.
