He did it in 2019, He Wants To Do It In 2023,It Can’t Work. He Didn’t Perform- JS Okutepa SAN Slams Gov. Bello.

Mr Jibrin Okutepa, who is a counsel to the Labour Party and its presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has slammed the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, accusing him of using thugs and security operatives to intimate his political opponents in Kogi State. He noted that the Kogi State governor did the same thing in 2019 and that he wants to do it again in 2023.

Speaking further, Mr Jibrin Okutepa made it clear that it will not work for him this time around, stating it clearly that Gov Bello did not perform as governor. He went further and made it clear that the Kogi State governor can’t force people to tow his political path, noting that the people of Kogi State must be allowed to chose who they want as their Governor.

Mr Okutepa made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle, ahead of the forthcoming Governorship election in Kogi State.

He further noted that Igala people are been eliminated by the forces sponsored by the government of Kogi State under Yahaya Bello, noting that the federal government has failed to do something about it. He also stated that what is happening in Kogi State is not democracy.

In addition, he urged the federal government to intervene before the Igala people are eliminated completely by the Government of Kogi State, led by Yahaya Bello. Okutepa also stated that they can’t no longer pretend that there is peace in Kogi State, because there is no peace in the state now.
