Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have abducted at least nine people, including Alaba Ope, the councillor representing Odo-Ape ward in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Sources in the area told newsmen on Wednesday, that the victims were kidnapped from different areas of the Community at about 1 am last night.
While the police have yet to confirm the incident, an official of the local government council, said necessary machinery have been activated to secure the release of the victims
