Group Lauds FCT Minister Of State Over Respect For Traditional Institution, Construction Of Road Linking Aguma Of Gwagwalada’s Palace

Emerging leaders in Gwagwalada has praised the Minister of State FCT,Hajiya Ramatu Tijanni Aliyu for given what is due to the traditional heritage, on the ongoing construction of the road linking the palace of Aguma of Gwagwalada.
A statement issued by the protem Chairman, Nwaorah Okonkwo said the neglect of the road leading to the palace does not augur well for the people of the area.
He says traditional rulers are the custodian of our culture and father of all,hence desire goverment attention and developement.
Okonkwo urged the Minsiter to give a face lift to the palace of Aguma and install as well as replace the street lights in the area, extend to other areas of the town ,to reduce the growing incidence of insecurity.
He also appeal to the Minister to consider alternative routes to old Kutunku by embarking on the construction of roads linking Martei Dei Catholic church, Al-Mohass Secondary through to Old Kutunku,saying the new areas is desiring access roads.
‘There is proliferation of developement around the area,hence open up the roads will attract more developement and decongest the Radio House Junction-Old kutunku road from traffic.’
